Did you know there is more than one type of orgasm and everyone’s experience of an orgasm is individual? How you feel pleasure is unique to you and how to get to that pleasurable moment is also unique to you. At Wiggle we take orgasms very seriously so it felt like a good time to explore the different types of orgasm.

Clitoral Orgasm

The clitoris is a highly sensitive organ, containing approximately 8,000 nerve endings, making it a primary source of sexual pleasure for many individuals. Stimulation of the clitoris, either directly or indirectly, often leads to intense and satisfying orgasms. We recommend trying a clitoral suction toy for this type of orgasm.

Vaginal Orgasm

This type of orgasm is achieved through stimulation of the vaginal walls. The entrance of the vagina, rich in nerve endings, is particularly sensitive. Some individuals report deep, pleasurable sensations from vaginal stimulation, leading to orgasm.

G-Spot Orgasm

The G-spot, located on the anterior wall of the vagina, is a cluster of nerve endings that, when stimulated, can result in profound orgasms. As arousal increases, the G-spot becomes more engorged, enhancing sensitivity and pleasure. Our favourite toy to support solo g-spot orgasm is the Fun Factory Patchy Paul Vibrator.

Anal Orgasm

Both men and women can experience orgasms through anal stimulation. For men, this often involves prostate stimulation, sometimes referred to as the "male G-spot." For women, anal stimulation can indirectly stimulate other erogenous zones, leading to orgasm.

Nipple Orgasm

Nipple stimulation can lead to orgasm due to the connection between the nipples and the genital sensory cortex in the brain. Some individuals achieve orgasm solely through nipple play, whilst others enjoy nipply play as part of the orgasmic experience. Bijoux Indiscrets Nipple Play Gel is a great lube to try for this.

Blended Orgasm

This occurs when multiple erogenous zones are stimulated simultaneously, such as combining clitoral and vaginal or G-spot stimulation. Blended orgasms can be particularly intense due to the concurrent activation of multiple pleasure areas.

Multiple Orgasms

Some individuals have the capacity to experience several orgasms in succession without a significant refractory period. This ability varies among individuals and can be enhanced through practice and increased sexual stamina.

Erogenous Zone Orgasm

Stimulation of various sensitive areas of the body, such as the neck, ears, or inner thighs, can lead to orgasm in some individuals. Exploring these zones can enhance sexual pleasure and lead to unexpected orgasmic experiences.

Mindgasm

A mindgasm refers to an orgasm achieved without any physical stimulation, relying solely on mental focus, fantasy, or meditation. Achieving a mindgasm requires a heightened connection between the mind and body and may involve practices like mindfulness and visualization.

Breath Orgasm

Through specific breathing techniques and mindfulness, some individuals can reach orgasmic states without direct physical stimulation. This practice emphasizes the power of breath and mental focus in achieving sexual pleasure.

Core Orgasm

Intense engagement of core muscles during activities like yoga or pilates can lead to orgasmic sensations, known as core orgasms. This type of orgasm highlights the connection between physical exercise and sexual pleasure.

Full-Body Orgasm

A full-body orgasm involves waves of pleasure that radiate throughout the entire body, rather than being localized to the genital area. This expansive form of orgasm can result from various types of stimulation and often involves a deep sense of relaxation and pleasure.

Exploration, communication, and an open mind are key components when it comes to discovering different ways you like or can orgasm. In opening you mind and relaxing into the moment you can achieve a different type of pleasure and embracing different lifestyle choices like breathwork, or trying pilates and mediation could lead to better sex.
